Gold title on green boards. A small dent to front at top and a little fading and a few marks to back. Internally clean and unmarked. Overall a Good+ copy. 21 photographic illustrations by the author and map of the journey. The author's account of his intrepid journey to Africa, from Algiers to Mombasa crossing the Sahara, in an ex-Army Ford station wagon. An excellent travelogue with empasis on the ethnic tribal people encountered.
