Age toning to endpapers and closed edges else clean and unmarked. Portrait frontispiece. viii + 276 pages. Authorised translation. A New Edition (First was 1865). Not dated but probably 1880's. An old copy of this classic work which can easily be tape reinforced to the hinges or rebound. Jean-Baptiste-Marie Vianney, T.O.S.F. (1786-1859), commonly known in English as St. John Vianney, was a French parish priest who is venerated in the Catholic Church as a saint and as the patron saint of parish priests more often referred to as the 'Curé d'Ars'.
