SIGNED BY AUTHOR to half title page with an inscription to 'the Guernsey R.S.P.B. group'. Gold title on orange boards which are clean and unmarked with no wear. Internally there is some light foxing to front endpapers else clean and unmarked. A VG+ copy. Dustjacket is complete and also VG+. As Swanherd of Abbotsbury Swannery in Dorset, and with a lifelong interest in natural history, there can be few people more qualified to write with authority on the subject than John Fair. His talent as an artist adds, through his original paintings contained in the book, an extra dimension to his observations.
