The Barn is the largest of a group of Sussex farm buildings at Ansty Cross and the author describes how this deserted but beautiful old Barn set in the heart of live Sussex farmland, became for only ten years, from 1972-1982, what may have been one of the best 'theatres' in the Western World - best but not big - the Forsyths' Barn Theatre. Illustrated.
