Black title, motif and ruling on orange cloth boards. Boards are very clean and unmarked with only a hint of wear to tail of spine. Internally very clean and unmarked apart from some small handwritten numbers to rear pastedown. A Very Good + copy. 3rd printing and not dated but Ist printing was 1934 and this was probably near that date. A story of a girl who is determined on unmasking a murderer even though it meant frequenting the lowest dives of London's underworld. **** A VERY SCARCE JEPSON TITLE **** Edgar Alfred Jepson 1863-1938 was a prolific crime / thriller writer. His son Selwyn was also a crime writer and his daughter wrote as Margaret Jepson and her daughter is the well known author Fay Weldon.
