Internally very clean and unmarked apart from some small handwritten numbers to rear pastedown. A Very Good + copy. 2nd printing and not dated but Ist printing was 1925 and this was probably 1930's. Dustjacket has many tears and small removals but has the back synopsis and front cover intact. Founded on an unproduced comedy by Victor Bridges and Edgar Jepson. A novel of a man returning from Brighton after acting as best man at friend's wedding which seems to have brought him good luck.
